While this surge has brought more visibility to our beloved breeds, it has also created a gap—a loss of connection, education, and real community.
At EBKC, we’ve always believed in more than just titles and trophies. The soul of this movement has always been about passion, purpose, and people. And so, we’re proud to introduce a new layer to our mission:
The EBKC Family Meet & Greet
No Show. No Ring. Just Soul.
This is not a competition. It’s not a race for points.
It’s a free, open-invite gathering for breeders, families, dog lovers, and enthusiasts of all levels and all breeds to come together in a relaxed, inclusive, and family-friendly environment.
Think of it as a Bully-style family BBQ or picnic—but with meaningful conversations, new connections, and real community spirit. Bring your dogs, your kids, your folding chairs, your food—or enjoy one of the food trucks on site. It’s about reconnecting with why we all got into this in the first place.
Why the Family Meet & Greet?
The over-saturation of shows has created a fast-paced culture that sometimes forgets the roots of breed preservation and healthy community growth. We’ve seen too many events turn into point-chasing exercises, where the only thing that matters is a title.
