The European Bully Kennel Club (EBKC) proudly announces that Ron Ramos, affectionately known as “Papa Pit”, will be a headlining judge at the EBKC SHOW ITALY 2025 – BULLY RODEO. This highly anticipated event will take place on March 29th and 30th, 2025, at the iconic Cowboy’s Guest Ranch in Voghera, Italy, a perfect setting to celebrate the best of the bully breed world.
Ron Ramos, a living legend and cornerstone of the international bully community, has been passionate about dogs his entire life. Growing up in the countryside with his father’s pedigreed dogs, ranging from Poodles to Rottweilers, Ron’s love for dogs was instilled early. He acquired his first registered pit bull in 1983 and began competing in shows in 1997. By 2004, Ron transitioned to judging, where he found his true calling.
As the Director of Judges for a prominent kennel club from 2004 to 2016, Ron built the foundation for judging standards, including the judges’ code of ethics and testing system, with the help of a dedicated team. His contributions have left an indelible mark on the bully breed community. Ron has judged countless prestigious events worldwide in over 24 different countries, and his expertise continues to be sought after across the globe.
Ron has also had the honor of judging for the EBKC at previous events in Italy and Belgium, further solidifying his connection to the European bully community.
